My port engine throttle lever (which is in the center between the reverse bucket and starboard throttle lever) is always loose no matter what I do. I am able to adjust the tension on the right throttle lever and the shifter. The service manual points to an adjustment screw that goes to the starboard lever. Has anyone ran into this?
Thanks

Yes, It's common. You can tighten it. You have to remove your lever assembly to get to it. Sometimes there is way too much lube on the lever to deal with as well. Taking it apart and cleaning the excess isn't a bad idea.

I found the bolt\nut that helps to keep it tight, but as the port throttle is moved back and forth, it loosens.
I am thinking about putting blue Loctite on it. I think that is my best option.
