Hi all,

I tool this XP to a shop about 5 years ago because it didn't seem to have any power "out of the gate". Once it got up on plane it was fine but the second I slowed down and then hit the gas again it just wouldn't go. The engine was spinning and it sounded fine but there was nothing happening at the nozzle. I took it to a shop that looked at it and told me that both the wear ring and impeller needed to be replaced. At the time I had them replace the wear ring but not the impeller. That seemed to make some difference but nothing like it should have been. I have attached a picture of the impeller (still in the jet pump). From what I can see it doesn't look that bad to me but I don't know how little damage can affect the performance of these things.

Can someone look at the attached file and tell me if it appears to be in that bad of shape?

Thanks!
