Carburetor line hook up on a 717

Hello, need some help! I am on the down hill stretch on resurrection of a 1997 speedster. Engines are in and I for got to mark which fuel line goes on the upper "barb" and which goes on the lower..... One line has the filter in it which make me believe it is the supply and the other I assume is the return. Not sure which goes on top and which goes on bottom.

Supply in the bottom, return out the top fitting.

For future reference the carbs actually have arrows cast into the cover plates that should fuel flow in and out.
