Carbon ring bellow (boot)

Can someone with a 1503 engine measure the length of the carbon ring boot (just the boot) while it is installed in the machine and report back. Obviously it would need to be at a stage of repair where this is all visible so if you can now or remember when it is open it would be much appreciated.

I have no idea what a 1503 engine is but the sea-doo shop manual says the boot should have 4 to 12 millimeters of "preload" while it is compressed. See the pic I attached from the manual for 2004 model year GTX's.
