i judt bought a 95 gtx and the guy who had it before me said the mpem was bad. well i think it mightve just had blown fuse. is there a way i can test the mpem? incase it helps the model number is 278000423

You can take some resistance measurements, it's outlined in the service manual. I don't think it's a full test but it could help determine if the MPEM is good or bad. You also can take it to a dealer and have him check it with a buds system, gonna be big bucks.

What is the ski doing? Have you check the fuses and which fuse if any is blown? What happens when you replace the fuse? On your ski all the fuses are in the front E-Box, three I think. If the 5A fuse is blown it's probably the MPEM, check and post back.

when i bought the seadoo(i bought it as is) the guy said the mpem was blown because he tried to jump it off (and i know that can blow the mpem but i want to be sure considering this is a 200$ mpem compared to 2 3$ fuses.) so when i bought it he already had the mpem takin out and he gave me the mpem and the fuses werent in it so idk and i cant really test it in the ski cause the battery is bad.

hook the mpem back up. you can use any 12v battery to test. even a car but it CANNOT BE RUNNING. if it pops the 5a fuse its probably the mpem...which can be repaired by replacing the blown diode inside. (lots of threads with the repair procedure and part #)
