hey guys so i was on my 96 xp today and it started bogging on me once in a while, but then it started bogging bad an shut off, it wouldnt re start again, battery seem to died, so i pinched the line and got towed in... put it on the trailer and when i got home,, it started right up! BUT tons of water came out of the exhaust, like way way too much.. and yes sadly i still have the grey fuel lines( i just havent gotten around to changing them)... so guys what to u think could be the issue? my water box doesnt have a rave valve on it

Your water box should have a rave valve on it, maybe that's part of the problem. Is there evidence that there once was a water valve there? Post a picture of the plumbing in that area.

I believe the real problem is the grey tempo fuel lines, I would guess that the carb. filters are clogged, they're about half the size of a pencil eraser and it doesn't take much to clog them. With the amount of gasoline that flows through the carbs. I've never understood why the filters are so tiny. When you re-do your fuel lines be sure to add an inline filter. You've been around for a while and you know the drill.

posting a picture soon, but i just put a volt meter on my battery.. 11.9 volts not running 11.8 volts while running... shouldnt i be at 14 volts??

That's definitely not stock, the plumbing looks correct except the water control valve is missing, I'm not sure why. Did the previous owner race the ski?

I'm not one to do any major mods., I've always felt that SeaDoo knows more about building ski's than I do.

you appear to be hard jetted, are there two hoses going in there ? or does it T into the box then continue on into the pipe ?
i'm curious where the 2nd small hose (top of pic goes)
pull both of those and see if there is a jet in there as well.

the hose on top, goes to the pipe.. i dont wanna pull it apart tho as it was working fine before(dont wanna mess anything up).. i think maybe the water could have been in there from the fast towing?? ... anyways.. i changed my regulator and my voltage seems to be back up. gonna water test and see how it goes
