Buying 97 XP & GSI... Tips? Suggestions?

Hi, I'm purchasing a 97 XP and 97 GSI tomorrow. I was told these were reputable crafts that Seadoo made. Is there any general items I should look for on these... like things that commonly wear out or need replaced? Or that habitually go bad and may cost some $$$ to fix?? Thanks!!!

We always recommend a water trial... but I'm sure it's cold in Ohio. If you aren't putting them on the water... make sure the wear rings, and impellers are good... and get a compression gauge, and check the engines. A good engine is 150 psi. Anything lower than 135 psi will need a rebuild soon.

Good luck

Yeah, most of the lakes are still froze over... let alone trying to put it in the water. LOL. Unfortunately it's only good riding from about the end of May/early June til end of September. I had a Yam Waveraider, and sold it bc it was to "topsy turvey" for me.

I will check those things... Thanks for your time!!! :D
