Bunk Slides

Anyone have an opinion either way, 1.5 inch vs. 3 inch wide, concerning bunk slides? Any negatives on installing them at all?

i dont have them on my trailer but I have them on my ski ramps on the shore. Love them. I went with the 3". The forst ramp I got the ones from Overtons that are 16" long and like 8 or 10 to a pack. They have grooves in them that can collect sand. I found another site that has solid pieces 3" wide and like 6' long. I'm ordering those for my 2nd ramp. They would be my suggestion sorry don't remember the site off hand

I don't think the sand will be too much of an issue, but will try to find the 3" ones you mentioned. I don't want it to slide off too easily, but want to be able to transfer skis to different trailers depending on our plans for the day. Thanks for the info.
