While repairing the rotary valve on my 97 gts 717 one of the brass
oil injecter fittings broke off flush on the outside of the rotary valve cover. I'm hoping one of you out there has an idea how I can repair this.

oil injection spigot tube

just a 1/8"? tube 1" long. Remove cover from ski, do not allow valve to fall off, or
you'll be re-timing the engine. Slip a butterknife between valve and RV cover and slide against the engine while you remove cover. Put a zip-tie on the splined shaft
to keep the valve from accidently coming off. Bill

broken oil spigot tube

Thanks for the info. If you dont mind I have a couple more questions concerning my problem. Is there a trick getting the old spigot out? How is replacement spigot held in place? Is is it a press fit? Does sea doo sell this part or is it something i'll have to locate on my own? l Thanks again!

Drill out the tube, or maybe heat and tap from inside, if it moves out 1/4" you'd be
fine. Otherwise buy a 1" long x 1/8"od brass tube and install it. I tried to pull one
out of old 587 cover but %^&*(*^$# it up! Bill
