Need to remove the pump fittings on the pump housing. They have been cleaned of all silicone but refuse to budge. I'm a little afraid of getting to forceful with them. Any secrets to removing them in one piece??

Try shooting some PB Blaster on it and let it soak for a few hours. A little heat too around the area might expand the material enough for the threads to allow it to loosen up...Be careful not to over heat it, and watch for fire hazard from a heat source.

Got it. Threw some heat to it with the propane torch (making sure to stay away from the plastic fitting). Still had to squeeze the tube pretty good though. They used a pipe dope on the threads and that what was holding it in there so well.

You have to be care full using a heat source, but it works every time. Glad it worked out for you.
