bad starter 95 xp800?

adding to my list of problems for the 95 xp800...i might have a bad starter.. the starter solenoid clicks...i get voltage on the posts when i press start...i get voltage from the cable that runs down to the starter and the negative of the battery when i press start. the battery is good... i swapped it out with my other jetski and it starts fine...does this sound like my problem?

yes if you have power going to the starter out of the selenoid then your starter has an issue

Nice....is this something I'm going to be able to do myself? I have a manual and it looks quite simple to take off...but where its at looks difficult to get at down below...if I'm looking in the right spot...

yes you can do this yourself unhook the positive cable and i removed the exhaust system from the motor to the muffler that way it opens it up alot more and makes things easier it should take no more than an hour
