I recently purchased a 95 XP that has a problem with the trim system (surprise surprise right?). I have searched and read a lot of great information on troubleshooting the system but nothing I read or found mentioned the issue I have.
Currently the trim works in the down
direction and stops when it gets to the travel limit just like it should. You can then press the button to raise the trim an it works fine but stops at the half way point. It's acting as if the upper limit switch is incorrectly adjusted and only allowing the system to use half of the available travel. Is the control module junk and need to be replaced or is there something I am overlooking? Thank you for any help!
