Hey Everyone,

so i finally have the engine fully assembled and put together, when I came to pressure test it, i found 2 spots that are leaking air.

1. spot one is one of the rave valves (has a gouge on the engine)
2. spot 2 seems to be in the corner where the mag housing sits (seems to have a tiny chip there)

I really hope i don't need to take this engine apart again.

Any help is really really appreciated!

Thank you!!

UPDATE: i put some threebond 1211 on those gaskets and it sealed right up.

However i am pressure testing and still losing pressure. No idea from where.

I practically sprayed the whole engine with soapy water and cant locate a leak.

I tested the rotary seals and they are holding pressure perfectly.

Any ideas where to look ?

Thanks!!

try spraying the hoses and connections for your air pump. Also it could be leaking back through the pump. You might have to install an in-line check valve in the test hose.
