99 GTX Limited sluggish acceleration

where is this wear ring i have simular issues with mine.
will also check gray lines
mine runs good just want to idle erratic and die sometimes. not all thou and its fuel injected

The wear ring is in the pump. If you get on your back and look into the pump you will see the impeller and around it should be a black ring/housing. If the gap between the impeller and ring is more than about the thickness of a dime you need a new one.

If the red and white ski in your avatar is the GTX it is not fuel injected.

ok so if it just had a new pump and back plate on it should be fine but will check it thanks
