This past weekend we FINALLY had the opportunity to take our "Limited" to the lake and pull the grandkids around on a tube. Before unloading, I made sure it was full of oil, but the oil light is flashing and and notice at the bottom of the speedo "low oil". The boat ran fine. The temp. remained in the high 90's to about 101. Could it be a bad sending unit?

I have a sneaking suspicion the sensor is the culprit, but......since I don't have an owners manual, I'm not sure where the sensor is located. I really appreciate your help.

One more thing....for some unknown reason, every once in a while the boat just cuts off, for no apparent reason. I had a new key made thinking it was a bad connection, but the problem still comes up from time to time. Any suggestions?

are all links blocked or just the useful ones?

wow that's f'n lame.

Thanks for censoring yourself... but keep it clean.

The only links that are automatically blocked are sites that are in direct competition, or who are unfriendly to this site. (and are in the terms of your users agreement)

There is one site with a ton of good info, but the owner is a Jack-A$$, so it's blocked. Also, in years past, there was issues with people just making links back to other PWC sites (like GH) instead of answering the question in the post.

So... is it lame? Depends on what side of the fence you are on. Directing traffic away from this site isn't cool... but if it's a legitimate need... then just PM the person the info.

You can talk about eBay, or SBT all day long... but the auto ban stuff is mostly just GH and SDS.

Anyway... the sudden shut off is probably your tether post going bad. Clean the contacts, and if it continues to happen, replace the post. (the internal switch is known to go bad)
