I left my 98 GTX LTD in the water over night, and it took on quite a bit of water. (Found out its slowly letting water in around where the driveshaft enters the hull. Bad seal?) I didn’t try starting it and let it dry out for several days. When I went to start it, it just clicked. Very obviously coming from the solenoid. I jumped the solenoid with a screwdriver, but it wouldn’t start. Pulled the plugs to make sure it was getting spark, and it’s getting nothing. Already replaced the spark plugs. Any ideas? Thanks for any help!

When you say it's getting nothing...

When you jumped the solenoid did the engine actually crank?

Check all your fuses, on mine there's a 5a fuse for starting.

You should have pulled the plugs and cranked the motor right away and got it running. At this point cross your fingers and hope the crank bearings didn't start to rust.
