Hey Guys, new to the Forums and having an issue with my 98 GTS. I am not getting any spark, when i crank the engine. It will crank over very well, but no spark out of either wires. NEW Battery, spark plugs, fresh gas, Has been winterized for 3 years. Any help would be great!!!

Thanks,
Mike

BTW, I checked the fuses and the coil has voltage when i cranked the engine(not sure how much it needs).

Ok, I have been searching the forums and couldn't find any problems similar to mine. I tried to clip the black/red rev limiter wire and still no spark. I don't know much about theses engines...

Any help or suggestions would be great!!!!

Ok, got it started... but wont stay for more then 2 or 3 seconds..... I am going to check out the carb and clean it. I got it started with some spray into the cylinders and put the spark plugs back and it wants to stay running but im thinking that once the spray burns off the engine is not getting any more fuel. Seems as if the spark plugs are really wet.... Suggestions on carb cleaning??

I will search around too, i'm sure there are a million carb questions.
