Let me preface this by saying when we launched the ski, the exhaust hose had come off and leaked lots of water (up to the carbs) into the hull. I saw air bubbles rising from the oil filter, but didn't think much of it because that should be sealed. After we got the water out of the hull I drove it to our dock across the lake. It ran great then, but a couple of hours later it wouldn't rev over 5k rpm. I changed the plugs, cleaned the raves, checked the water regulator, cleaned the fuel filter, and checked the carb filters. Everything checked out good. I couldn't find any trace of water in the fuel or oil. My guess is water water got in through the oil filter already went through the engine.
Any suggestions? As always, all help is greatly appreciated.
