Hey guys and girls, I have a 96 sea-doo xp can't get it to pull
any fuel to carbs. Carbs are cleaned and ready, fuel valve and lines
are clean. Any suggestions?? Please.
Well... if it's all clean, and ready to go... then you shouldn't have a problem.
Since they aren't ready to go... I would remove the fuel line at the carb, and suck on it, to see if you can draw fuel up the hose. (a pump is a preferable method so you don't get a mouth full of fuel)
If you can't... go back though the hoses to make sure it's all hooked up properly.
If you can... the pump in the carb is not working.
inspect the o-ring, in the inline filter. If anything, removethe fuel line from filter to carb, and take it, right to the "res" fitting off tank, then try to fire. If it works, then either/both the filter or selector valve is bad.
Thanks seadooya I am trying to get this thing going,
when you say valve selecter do you mean the fuel valve.?
What if that does not work? I am going to try and I will
get it posted.
