96 xp vts gauge

the vts gauge on m 96 xp goes to full up position as soon as the lanyard is installed.
the vts operates the nozzle ok,up and down,but the gauge always stays up.
sounds like a gauge issue to me.sound right to anybody?

i'm probably wrong but i'll agree with you, thats the first thing i'd check, check the connectors, clean them up maybe you just have a bad connection.
