96 xp oil

i have a 1996 xp and the oil in it is green but the oil i bought at my local dealer (seadoo xps synthetic) is brown colored is there a problem mixing the two im sure the guy who owned it before us used ash oil so i think maybe it's just the color thats different can you guys point me in the direction...

when all else fails, drain and refill =) no worth taking a chance

If you have a '96 you should probably stop running oil injection and switch to premix. If your oil injection fails, your engine will need to be rebuilt. I highly suggest you get a kit to run premix only.
