ok so last night i went to the boat launch to ride the xp for the forst time since i installed a starter, cleaned raves and redid the fuel system and cleaned the carbs... It will crank just fine but no matter what position i turn the selector to it will not suck fuel.... I replaced the pulse line also and still nothing.... I dont get it i even tried to hook the ful line directly from the baffle to the carbs and still no fire.... im at a loss with it so does anybody have any ideas on where to go from here

To make this simple can anybody just tell me what line goes where off the baffle and to the carbs and selector ...none of the lines were hooked up when i got it so i dont really know how they go

i know i keep posting on my own thread but another UPDATE..... I was just lookiong at the manual and it is showing that the lines are SUPPOSED to have restictors in them.....the ones i took off had no restricors and the one i put on dont either...is this accurate could it cause my fuel problem

I don't think so. It's hard to describe what line goes where without a picture, but off the water separator, the line goes to the carb inlet on the bottom of the mag carb. The line from the outlet of the fuel selector goes to the inlet of the water separator, make sure these are hooked up incorrectly. Take a picutre of how you have the lines run from the tank to the selector and from selector to the water separator.

Is your fuel pump operational?

well...you maay have just answered my question.... i thought that the nipple on the bottom of the mag carb was for the return line..i didnt know it was the fuel inlet so i think i may have them hooked up backwards.....so on the pto carb the line that comes from that that has the splitter in it will go to the return port on the baffle then right??

ok im going to go home tonite and rerout all the lines the right way and see what happends .....like i said i thought where the spllit was on the pto carb was the fuel INLET not the FUEL RETURN so i think i had them hooked up backwards

It happens.

yeah i was just worried that my pump was bad but i guess if the lines are not hooked up right you cant suck fuel right LOL

Yup, backwards. I originally thought the same thing last year, but when i replaced my lines this year i found out the same thing.
