96 xp may seize

This might be a repost didnt if it posted. Can anyone tell me if engine is going to seize if it runs great except while running about 40 or so it will die. I push start button an it starts back up. Someone told me its sucking air an is going to seize up. It doesnt surge. Please help me out

Not necessarily, but it does sound like you have a lean condition. Have you changed out the grey tempo fuel lines?

That is my next step,can i use old clamps or should i replace with new ones. If so what type do you recommend? Thanks again for the info.

You won't be able to re-use the hose clamps, you can get stainless steel hose clamps, personally I use quality cable ties, Panduit brand from Greybar. There's a lot more to it than just replacing the fuel lines. Here's a thread on the subject.
