96 gsx seadoo, how 2 check oil pump

I would like to check the oil pump on my jet ski. This ski is an older machine and want to make sure it is in good working condition....dont want to blow the motor up

remove steriingnozzle and venturi. plug on top of pump cone, oil should be to height of the plug--- 75W90 synthetic oil

I think he means the engine oil pump?? Their is a bench test with a drill and such in the manual. Easy way is to fire it up on hose and hold pump arm wide open. Should smoke like heck. Also mark oil level on tank and see if it drops after running. If your not sure run premix for a tank so you dont blow up your engine. Did you change injector lines?? CCC
