I just finished cleaning carbs and fuel selector, replacing fuel lines on a 2000 LRV with the 951 engine. Engine starts and then immediately starts over revving. Low and High speed adjusters are in original positions. I don't feel anything sticking in the throttle play.
Any ideas?

Make sure your carb butterfly's are in sync and look down the carbs and make sure the butterfly's are actually closed. When it runs away like that, just pull the choke and let it die. most of the time pulling the lanyard and sparkplugs does nothing.

Hope this helps. Also make sure you have enough freeplay in the throttle. the cable should have a little slack in it.

sounds like you have an air leak ...did you replace the intake gaskets when you had the carbs off

No, they looked good - but I'll be sure to now. I did spray the carbs down with wd-40 while it was revving and didn't detect anything.
