951 carby tune Need help

I have 98 seadoo gsx limited and replaced all fuel lines and had carbs rebuilt fitted them and ski started first go, but revving very high mechanic who rebuilt carbs said I should not touch the lows as he has set them only use the highs to adjust do I adjust both the same mag and PTO side, what's the best way to adjust and how high should it rev outside of water had great throttle response but when connected to hose throttle was a bit boggy

I have found that trying to get the ski running correctly "out of the water" is hit and miss. Mostly Miss. I don't have time this morning but there is a page with information on the proper carb settings. I've never messed with the 951 but the carbs on all my skis the high speeds are closed completely.

Sometimes I read there are discrepancies on this list but here ya go. Look toward the bottom for your ski. Pop-Off setting, high and low speeds. If nothing else... a great place to start. Good Luck.
