95 XP Eng Miss during hard accel

One cyl is misfiring during hard acceleration but clears up and runs fine on top end and other speeds. I replaced the spark plugs and it cleared up for only one quick acceleration then it was back to doing it every time. I clipped the ends off the plug wires with no success. Any suggestions anyone ?

are plugs continuosly fouling? is it getting consistent spark for both cylinders? all fuel filters clean? what is compression?
