94 xp stator / no fire help!!!

I have a pair of 94 sea doo xp's. Last week when I put them in the shed both were running fine today when I got them out one would not start and after holding a spark plug to the block I found that there is no spark! I took all the parts out of the electrical box one by on and swapped to the ski that was running all parts out of the electical box were good! So I think all this leaves is the stator In the repair manual I have it says I need a bombardair tester? Is there any way to ohm the stator out? or is there something I may be missing?

Yep... you can just check the resistance of the coils. But, the stators aren't known to just fail. Normally the have to be physically damaged.

do you know whatcolor wires go together and how many ohms

black and black with red 40-76 ohms.

So the resistance is twice as high as spec. I guess it needs replaced.

Where is the best place to get a replacement at? How hard is it to get the flywheel off ?

My fly wheel was a pain. and you need a special tool called a "puller"
