94 SPI Starting Issues

Hi,

Got a 94 SPI, it took on abit of water the other day and since only seems to start with throttle applied. The spark on the plugs seems rather inconsistant when turning over it moves all over the electrode rather than being consistant, i've compression tested both cylinders at 132 on both and checked for water ingress at the mpem and there wasn't any corrosion or damage.


Wondered if there was a way to test the coil or stator? or anything else it could be causing it?

Open all the electrical boxes and check all electrical connections.

I have checked all except the stator inside the front housing, I’ve trimmed 1/4” off the leads aswell.
