I have a 97 GTX that was in a minor collision with dock. The Information center wiring was partially torn loose, resulting in about four wires that must be re soldered to the circuit board. I have searched all of the available wiring diagrams, but none seem to show the order that the wires are attached to the circuit board. Does anyone have any diagrams or pictures from when they serviced their information centers? Will a 97 GTX run ok without the information center functioning at all, if I'm not successful. Working information centers are getting really tough to come by for 97s. The jet ski runs beautifully otherwise as I have redone all the gas lines and rebuilt the carbs.

Sorry I have no pics but yes it will run without it.
What color are the wires ? Got any pics ?
Are the wires for somthing usefull? As in power wires. Or are they sensor wires. Wondering if we can do trial and error if its the right wires.
Look up th infocenter lcd repair. I think I saw a pic of the board on the tutorial that might help.

Minor collision? Just kidding. As far as I know a diagram doesn't exist. SeaDoo buys the gauges from and outside source I'm pretty sure they buy their gauges from Faria so you might check with them. For all the time and trouble it might be easier and cheaper to buy a good used gauge from Nick Minnetonka4me he probably also has the gauge cover which you probably also need.

Thanks for the advice !! Faria has a cool website but from the look of it I doubt they would be able to fix my info center for what I can get one from Mike. That's the plan.

Thanks for getting back. I already put the guage i bought from Nick in place and its working great. I saved the old one and it had a really nice clear LCD and a lens with no scratches so if you have those pictures I will take a shot at fixing it and I can test it when I go to winterize at the end of the season. I have a pair of 97 GTXs so a spare info center is probably a good idea. If its a hassle to post them to the forum my email is barbacc@aol.com.

Here are some pics
