$35 seadoo

Just wanted to show my running seadoo I got for 35$ last night! Once I finish my 1990 seadoo I'll be starting to go through this one

But you know there is no such thing as a $35 Seadoo, you will be into it for hundreds. How do I know? One of my most expensive skis was "Free", LOL.

Yes that is true lol. That's how my 1990 sp is. I got it dirt cheap and have probably put just as much if not more than I paid for it into it. But they are fun and it gives me something to restore lol

How come my key wont stay on? its not even wanting to clip on. what should i do

Either the rubber lanyard is bad or the plastic post is.

the lanyards look good i have 3 of them and the post is good. i can push it down by hand and start the ski. its just like the key wont go around the bottom where the nut is to stay on. ill try and get a video and pics today

You are putting it on the wrong button.
That one with the soft rubber boot is the start button.
The lanyard is to the right with the red/green circle.

what size bolts hold the head on? i have to get a new bracket that goes from engine to intake and the two bolts are missing on engine side

What is this red piece for. it has a ground symbol on it, it looks like. my 1990 doesnt have it. nothing seems to go to it and the ski runs great.

also any info on the head bolts

those are grounding posts to put your spark plug wires on if you want to crank the engine without them on the plugs.

So @mikidymac well it just turned into a 135$ jetski because i had to buy it twice. I was trying to get the title for it and to do that i had to get a HIN inspection. Had a detective from the dmv come out and apparently the ski was stolen 8 years ago out of panoma California, im in Utah Got ahold of the owners it was stolen from and they sold it to me for 100$

At least it ended well and you will have a legal ski with a title, could have been much worse.

Thats true. the people originally wanted it back but they realized it would cost more to get the ski back to California than what its really worth since they would have to get a trailer and drive the 14hrs to me and then 14hrs back
