I cannot find this part number for the life of me, even called Merc Dealer.
Need to know the part number of the fuel lift pump.
Would also like to know the pressure I should see on direct read gauge while running (3-5 sec after ignition on switch) and residual pressure.
It would be nice to replace the fuel filter with transparent one.
Also considering installing an inline bulb -- thoughts?
Current pump makes a vibration and seems to be on its last leg, very hard to start & recently I replaced the main power relay with evidence of heating on the plug. Every part catalog omits this pump.
Runs great once started, WOT & restarts as needed until left overnight.
Batt good (charged, new, and good voltage), fuel cap fine. Just seems lacking fuel for starting.
