2020 Seadoo gtr 230 Rear Seat Clip

The rear seat on the 2020 gtr is these two clips that you push in to take it off. Both clips on each side are broke, and the only way to take the seat off is to take two flat head screw drivers and flip up the clip inside. Can you easily replace the the mechanism on the inside that makes the clips come off? My only option that I thought of was to cut off the thing you push and give enough room for me to use my fingers to take it off.

I had my latches break on my 2021 GTI SE when someone hung onto my seat too much and pulled the seat off. I think it bent the spring wires that snap around the mounting studs. I had the dealer replace the latches under warranty, so I don’t know the details of how to do it, but the latches, springs, and studs on the deck are all replaceable to repair your latches.
