2017 GTX dead in the water! Help if you can.

Just got back to the dock after a problem free, but choppy ride across the bay and the ski is completely dead. No beep, no LCD. Although I though I faintly heard taps playing in the distance. I hope it’s something simple. Please tell me it’s simple!

Sounds like battery connection or a fuse popped out.

That’s what I thought too. Pulled and checked all the fuses. Connections seemed in place. Admittedly it was getting dark. I’ll have to get back out to it tomorrow.

I had the same thing on my 08 GTI and it was the main relay. Riding in rough conditions and it popped out. I believe in that model, it was located near the fuse box, but not part of it.

It was the main relay! Thank you. I had pushed on it and it seemed seated but decided to pull it and put it back and she fired right up.

Maybe see if you can get some zip ties around it.
