I had an issue last season with the radio mount, it broke clean off, I fabricated a wood frame to hold it securely and it worked like a charm.
This season the radio will not power on, I've check the fuse with a probe and it's fine, power on both sides, however no power on the red wire that plugs in the back of the radio, I assume this IS the power lead?
Any ideas what to check next?
TIA

Run a piece of spare wire from the red wire back to harness by fuse block and check continuity of the wire? A short in the wire - rubbing somewhere along the run - is all I can think of.

Yea, it's something in the harness, I ran a hot wire to the radio and it powered on.
I can't trace the original wire, it's a nest.

Figured as much. Nothing is ever engineered for the inevitable repairs/fixes. At least you know radio is good. Now, as far as running a new wire, good luck!
