2009 RXP 215 TOPS code P1502

Hello all I am pretty new to the PWC world, I recently bought a 2009 RXP and I was riding it this weekend when the check engine light would come on and it would flash code P1502. I pulled the ski up to the dock and went to get the trailer to load it, when I started it again the code was gone and everything ran normal well this happened 2 more times and when it happens the ski wont go more then 40MPH or so almost like its in limp mode. Any possible suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Is it possible for the switch to be acting up sometimes?

Look at the possible problems in this attachment, if you can't find any of these then the TOPS switch is probably faulty.
