2005gti/rfi locked up wont turn over need help!!!

hi there new to this and my jet ski, when io hit start button the motor just clunks? i have checked cylinoid, battery and now thanx to forum i have checked pto but cannot turn shaft either direction with channel locks? i have only drivin this 4 times in last 2 weeks. second time i rode it it did similair problem just stopped while doing about 20 mph like it seized up ? pushed button 10-30 times sounded like battery but then wham turned over great and i was on my way ? rode it one other day no issues . next time sounded like fowled plug changed plug took it out got going about 20mph and died again ? it just clunks clunks clunks??? when i took off d/s cover i did notice dirt and rocks in clear water tube ? i am new to this ski and need help is the motor junk now ? please help me out thanx , 61 out

Water in a rotax can turn the engine to junk in 24 hours. Crank bearings are very
sensitive to rust.

thanx for that the only ? is how did water get in there i have been putting little oil in cyl. holes and wiggling shaft back an fourth it has now been moving 1/4 turn back n fourth?if i put ext to rachet in hole the front piston seems to be going up but has play somehwere in it going down? once i stop the shaft i can usually still move pist cple mm"s grrr no clue where to go with this from here thanks for your response

Pull the raves. The lands may have broken, ring broken, winds up in exhaust port.

ok lol what in gods name are the raves and lands ? ive givin up thoughts that its the starter i thought that maybe a rock or something could have locked up waterpump ?not sure if its gear drivin ?everything on these are next to impossible to work on lol.i know alot about car engines /racecar engines but el stupido when it comes to these i guess ? ill check them if you can tell me what an where they are ? thanx alot bill you seem to know your s*** lol

ok i think the raves and landin is the round black plastic cover w/red dot on top? if so ive takin that out and now looking in but just see lots of oil so far ?im on in the right area ? this is beginning to look like major over haul?lol when i move crank shaft back n fourth feels like something is stopping it from turning could it be a broken piece in engine ? just seems strange that exact thing happened 2 days before this but miraculously it just turned over and all was forgotton til this time ? thinking i should pull my polaris indy 5oo motor out of sled and convert lol?

Hey just a check ive completely torn down the motor as far as heads off! Seems one of the (needle bearings)?that hold piston to rod came apart . The one cylynder is completely shot with rings in pieces or melted to piston!the was no water in motor that i could see ? Can anyone tell me what couldve caused this and which is cheaper rebuilding or where to get a good replacement motor? Please someone help me ?
