Everyone,
On my last outing, when I put the ski in the water, fired it up, everything was fine idling away from the dock then when I gunned it, it acted like it kicked into neutral but we all know its direct drive
At that point I noticed a good sized oil trail. After dropping back to idle the ski would move forward, I gave it some gas and again it starting slipping just like being in neutral. Again, I dropped it back to an idle, idled back to the ramp and loaded it on the trailer. any ideas, sounds like it may be expensive to fix. This ski has had "0" issues until now, it's been good.
I'm hoping it's just a seal but when it's slipping the shaft, I'm thinking it could be bad.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and ideas and any directions to make the repair.
