New to the site... This is probably an easy question for some of the folks here. Yesterday after killing the engine to chill for a while, I reconnected the lanyard and .... nothing. No beeps.. no power... wouldn't crank .... nothing. So I got a tow from my other 05 GTX back to the dock. After getting it home I could plug in the lanyard and could hear a click in the engine compartment but still no beeps and no power. The clicking seems to be coming from the front of the engine, from a solenoid I guess that has 2 wires connected to it and 2 small screws/nuts on top of it. It continues to click as long as the lanyard is plugged in but I never get the 2 beeps or the digital read out on the dash. Is this an easy fix or is it just tricking me? Replace the solenoid? Take the solenoid off of my other seadoo to see if powers up? Or is this a major problem? Thanks in advance for the input .. I'm dead in the water here .. literally.

You are describing a dead battery or bad connection at battery. Take it to Autozone, etc. and have it tested.

Battery seems (stressing on seems) to be good. On the battery Negative post there are 2 wires connected to the main lead. I hooked those 2 wires directly on top of the main ground connection to maybe try to bypass any connection problems. Now, sometimes I get the beeps .. sometimes I don't. Ground problem? When I get the 2 beeps, it will crank with no problem. Still haven't figured out what that solenoid looking thing is. Is it possible to post a pic on here.... or a video??
