Yesterday we had to bring our 2005 Sportster to dealership because it would not start - luckily still at dock when this occured.
It started at home, 10 seconds worth, and then once when launched - but then died and would not re-start, although it sounded like it wanted to real bad. Would crank up but not turn over.

Dealership said it could be couple things - clogged fuel filter, bad gas, bad fuel line - or worst possiblity, damage from frozen fuel pump.
They said Sportsters have a "minor" flaw that allows water down in engine area, and over winter this can freeze and cause engine and or pump damage.

We did "drain" our boat at the end of the season last year, and kept it garaged all winter - so I find this possiblity suprising, BUT, the dealership did say it is common. supposedly the boat has a "flaw" that allows water to remain trapped down there..

Is anyone else aware of this water problem - Has Seedoo addressed it at all ?Has anyone else had damage due to a frozen water pump ???
