2003 RXDI digital speedometer

The analog speedometer is working fine but the digital speedo is erratic and reads 0 mph at times. Bouncing all over the place from 27 to 52 etc while the analog stays steady. Started out riding yesterday it wasn’t working at all then when it came to life I noticed how erratic it was reading, when it was reading. I have 2 03 RXDI’s and only one has this problem. Any ideas why only digital one does this? All other functions read normal including lake temp.

I was having a similar problem with my fuel level reading. The signal from the fuel pump was fine. After re-seating the MPEM connection (unplug, then plug back in), everything has worked fine. Look up which MPEM connector has the digital speed sensor and try that.
