the ski will start and idle all day but when you give it gas it dies some times it will rev up for 2-3 seconds but then it dies does anyone know what the problem is i need to get it fixed fast

Start with a compression check. Rule this out first. Should be 130-135 for the 951 I believe

Then move on to trouble shooting the fuel system. Which the DIs I know nothing about

Well the DI is a different beast when crap starts going wrong. You are most likely going to need to take it in to a dealer. I hate to tell anyone that, but the DI system is hard to diagnose and/or repair without extensive knowledge on them

People here want to help, it is just that it is a DI.

They are very hard to diagnose and very expensive compared to others.

If you get an inline spark tester you will be able to confirm if it is a fuel or spark issue.

If fuel, then start at the pump and work forward.

I know it is new, but maybe it is defective. Can you check the fuel pressure,,,

Agreed, I will do my best, but be prepared to possibly spend more than its worth to fix. It's an 11 year old system with many parts out of production and many dealers unwilling to touch a 2 stroke. Carbs aren't "better" they are just cheaper and easier to work with.

the fuel pump i put in is working it pumps fuel to the injector rail i put in new injectors and i put in new throttle bodys i also tried a new voltage regulator and mpem and stator any other thoughts it will idle all day between 1200-1700 and i can get it to rev for a few seconds but then it dies

I get that the pump is working, but at what pressure?

Some of the skis have a 107psi pump for example. So at 60 psi the pump works but either cannot give the volume or the pressure required to run much above idle.

It can still be a fuel delivery issue. More specific, a fuel restriction issue.

If you have something in a line or the the fuel selector valve for example. It will act just like a defective pump.
