2001 GTS with 717, where does the hose go??

Long story short, putting together a fixer upper I bought and there are two black 1/4 lines that run from breathers in the sides of the ski back into the engine compartment, I can not find where they connect to, is it possible one is for the battery vent and one is #10 below?

Yes, one is the battery vent, and one is for the cooling.

Another question, is this the nipple for the pulse nipple on the carb? Manual just shows pulse going to engine.

You are correct, the nipple on the engine connects to the one on the fuel pump cover on the carb.
