2000 GTX 787 RFI won't idle.

My buddy picked up a 74 hr. 787 RFI.

Ski runs well, new plugs, cleaned up the raves which were gunked to hell.

Ski won't idle on land or sea. Idle jumps all over the place. Attempted to adjust the idle up a hair, no effect.

Ski, runs on water just fine, long as you keep it over 2k.

New plugs, 2 trips out look very dark. Oil pump is set right.

So, is it running rich? I'm more of a 951 guy.... And carbs.

Does he need a new TPS? Are we going to need the PITA dealer?

Can't tell what oil is in it. Plan to use XPS synthetic.

When you let off the throttle it will idle around 1200, then drops to 800 then up then down then up then down then stall.

Using the idle screw has no effect.
