I have started haveing a problem with my driver side engine. It starts and runs fine at WOT for a while, then rpm's start to fluctuate and drops off. It gets to where it is only running at 4000-5000 rpm at WOT. the other engine is running fine. It seems to be worse in rougher water conditions. I have cleaned the RAVEs and the carbs were rebuilt 2 years ago. Wondering if it is a electrical connection???

dont think its electrical,...do compression test, if all good, I'd go thru the fuel system/carb-s again. Doesnt take much for that internal filter to get clogged, or during winter, carbs just weak'n up, especially gas left in...

Thanks for the info. Took it out today and it ran fine for an hour or so, then after stopping and sitting for awhile it never would run WOT. I am going to go through the carbs again and check compression but would not think it is anything wrong with the compression since it runs fine for awhile..
