Hello all! My first post here in this forum. I have a 1998 GTX-RFI that I have had for several years. It's always run quite well. About a year ago my 98 skips or misses. It really doesn't matter if you are wide open or just at idle. The skip seems to happen about every 20-30 seconds or so. 5400 RPM seems to work the best but it will do it there as well. When it does miss at full speed it's enough to hunch you over until the engine picks up again. After about 2 hours of this I can only run at about 1/3 power. I took a look at the plugs and typically both plugs are oily. I have replaced them before and cleaned them multiple times. The local shop replaced the regulator I believe and that didn't change anything. I run with 93 octane now and it seems to help a touch. Anyone have any ideas?
