1997 gsx runs better when switched to reserve

i put stabilize in my 97 xp and 97 gsx......both stall when i give it gas...any suggestions...i did find out that the gsx runs perfect when switched to reserve tank and doesnt stall but the xp still does. any help would be nice

You could add more fuel to dilute the stabilizer. Chances are too the spark plugs are in need of replacement.
