1996 Sea doo Jet ski's.... should I buy and what kinda problems?

I want to buy 2 jet skis for my family. There is a car lot that has 2 1996 Seadoo GTX 3 seater jetski's with trailer for $6000. They both have less than 100 hours. Are these good jetski's? What tears up the most on them? They look to be in really good shape and each have covers, but what do I need to do to check them out to make sure they are not "repaired junk"? We are purchasing on a budjet. They seemed like a good deal, but I dont know how to tell what they are worth. Thanks in advance for all and any help!!!!

My 2 cents on this issue

caraudioguy. I would ask the seller the last time they were serviced and ask to see the work order. If the seller is not able to produce any paper work ask the seller if you can have an authorized Sea Doo dealer check them for you. If they find any problems see if the seller would take that off the asking price.
If the seller says no, I would say see-ya.
