1996 gtx starting problem

I have a 1996 GTX. I plug in lanyard and get two beeps, then hit starter button and get nothing. Help!

HI and welcome to the forum.
I'm in Michigan also.

check your switch, you may need a new one. Check the connector running under the hood....just follow the cable to the connector and make sure it not corroded or loose.
