1996 gti exhaust question

I have a 96gti with a 717 I was wondering if I could take a exhaust set up from a 1995 xp with a 717 and use it on my Gti the one off the so is a tuned exhaust.

All 720s use the same exhaust except for the HX. The newer ones switched to bigger bolts.

ok I was just wondering because the xp exhaust looks different from my gti exhaust

Looking at the parts diagram the 95' HP uses the same exhaust as the HX. Your GTI uses the same one as the 96' SPX and all other 720's after that. THere is no performance difference as far as I know and the engine was rated at 85 HP with either exhaust.
